VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD BOARD OF TRUSTEES
PUBLIC HEARING
MARCH 15, 2004
AT: VILLAGE HALL
BOARD PRESENT: M.COLLINS, RSWALWELL, S.THOMSON, P.FAY, lWALDORF, AND
K.O'CONNELL. BOARD ABSENT: MAYOR ROCK. OTHERS PRESENT: S.JANIK, CLERK;
lHARVEY, ATTORNEY; T.L.BURGHARD, ADMINISTRATOR; S.LARSON, ENGINEER;
APERSONS, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR; C.MINICK, MANAGEMENT SERVICES
DIRECTOR; lTESTIN, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR; D.BENNETT, CHIEF OF
POLICE; AND, M.GIBAS, RECORDING SECRETARY.
PROPOSED 2004-2005 BUDGET
Chairperson O'Connell called the meeting to order at 8:05 p.m. Present roll call stands.
Mr. Chris Minick stated state statute requires that a Public Hearing be held as part of the Budget
process. In conjunction and in accordance with those statues, staff has made a copy of the proposed
2004-2005 Budget in the Clerk's office and the Plainfield Public Library. Notice of the Public
hearing has been published in accordance with state statute.
There were no public comments.
Trustee Swalwell moved to close the Public Hearing and return to the regular business meeting.
Seconded by Trustee Collins. Voice Vote. All in favor, 0 opposed. Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 8:06 p.m.
