The Conmion Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving; as a committee in charge
of the operation of the Richmond Power and Light met in regular session in the Council
Chambers in the City Hall i n said City, Monday, March 15, �965 thehour of7:00
- _� at
o'clock p.m. (est). Councilman Youngflesh presiding with the following members
being present: Messrs. Bachmeyer, Belly Henn, Hilligoss, Hollingsworth, Marino,
Paust and Yount. The following business was had to-wit:
Councilman Yount t moved the minutes of the previous meeting he dispensed with, second-
ed by Councilman Bachmeyer and on voice vote was carried.
Councilman Marino moved the following claims be allowed and paid, seconded by
Councilman Hilligoss and on voice vote was carried.
APPROVED THE FOLLO I !G:
- Bills in the amout of: 3131,139.86
TRANSFERS FROM CASH OPERATING FUND TO:
Utility Bond Fund 25,420.63
Cash Reserve Fund 78,081.76
Depreciation Reserve Fund 36,000.00
1r. Beck presented proofs of publication of notice printed in the Richmond Palladium-
Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana, that
sealed bids would be received on the date of March 15, 1965, until the hour of '
7:00 o'clock p.m. (est), for furnishing the Richmond Power and Light with One (1)
New 1965 Model, 6=Cylinder, 4-door Sedan. Mr. Kemper, City "ttorney examined the
proof of publication and found the same to he correct and in order. Councilman
Yount moved the proof of publication be received and filed, seconded by Councilman
Marino and on voice vote was carried.
March 15, 1965 being the date to receive and open sealed bids, the following bids
were received, ope'ned and read aloud:

Councilman Marino moved the bids be referred to Mr. i3eoh for tabulation and
recommendation. This motion was seconded by Councilman Hollingsworth and on voice
vote was carried.

The Cash Reserve Fund, after the fund transfers are made, will show a balance
of 0_52,772,15.
The Finance Committee recommends that we purchase , 150,000.00 (maturity value)

uring Bills, November 30, 1965, present yield 3.94(
On approval of the above purchase we will place the order with the Second
National Bank.

Councilman Yount moved the General Manager be authorized to invest the sure of
150,000.00 in U.S.Treasury Bills, maturing November 30, 1965. This motion was
seconded by Councilman Paust and on voice vote was unanimously carried.
There being no further business presented, on motion duly made, seconded and
carried, the meeting adjourned.
