PUBLIC HEARING: CORYDALIS STREET VACATION The developer of Heritage Meadows Neighborhoods 3 & 4 submitted an application to vacate a portion of Corydalis Street. The development of Wal-Mart to the east precipitated the request since no roadway connection was provided between Heritage Meadows and the Wal-Mart. Attorney Bernhard, representing the owners of Lot 112 and 113 wrote letters to the Village indicating their willingness to accept the ownership and maintenance of half of the right-of-way. Ann Hish, resident of Heritage Meadows Subdivision requested information on the vacation. Ms. Patty Burnhart, Dommermuth Cobine, Brestal, and West, stated that lot 112 was designed to have its frontage on Corydalis Street. Since that roadway was not built, the lot now needs to be oriented towards Lily Lane. Due to the corner side yard setbacks that are in place, the lot width along Lily Lane is inadequate for the home the owners would like to construct. No other public comments were made. Trustee Waldorf moved to close the Public Hearing and return to the regular meeting. Seconded by Trustee Collins. Voice Vote. 5 yes, 0 no, 1 absent. Motion carried.
