RESOLUTION APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF
AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough");
and the School Crossing Guards have meet with regard
to modifications and the collective bargaining agreement
between the parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and
Council of the Borough of Caderet that modifications outlined
on the attached Exhibit A are approved.

Senior School Traffic Guards To $ 12.52
Benefits will be provided after 5 years of service, Hospitalization and Dental. The Dental
will be The Healthplex Network as provided by the Local. 90% of premium will be borne by
Municipality 10% by employee. Hospitalization will be single coverage.
The cost of both will be distributed over 5 years of contract starting January 1, 2000 and
no salary increase will be given over the 5 years.
The school crossing guards will be paid for the same number of days as the school is
open. Thereby eliminating the need for scheduled holidays.
