VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD
EMERGENCY MEETING MINUTES
JUNE 28, 2005
AT: VILLAGE HALL
PRESENT: J.WALDORF, P.FAY, J.RACICH, W. MANNING AND J.DEMENT. ABSENT: M.
COLLINS. OTHERS PRESENT: S.JANIK, CLERK; J.HARVEY, ATTORNEY; N.
SAKELLARIOU, ATTORNEY.
Mayor Waldorf called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. Roll call was taken, Trustee Collins was
absent, and all other Trustees were present.
J. Dement moved to adjourn to Executive Session for the purpose of personnel to reconvene.
At 5:56 p.m. the meeting was reconvened.
J. Dement moved to accept the resignation of Terrance Burghard, Village Administrator as of July
10, 2005. Seconded by W. Manning. Vote by roll call. Racich, yes; Dement, yes; Fay, yes;
Manning, yes. Motion carried. 4 yes, 0 no, 1 absent.
W. Manning moved to enter into a Separation Agreement with Terrance Burghard and authorize the
Mayor and Village Clerk to execute the agreement. Seconded by J. Racich. Vote by roll call.
Racich, yes; Dement, yes; Fay, no; Manning, yes; Waldorf, yes. Motion carried. 4 yes, 1 no, 1
absent.
J. Dement moved to appoint Christopher Minick as Interim Administrator for the Village of
Plainfield immediately. Seconded by W. Manning. Vote by roll call. Racich, yes; Dement, yes; Fay,
yes; Manning, yes. 4 yes, 0 no, 1 absent. Motion carried.
W. Manning moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by J. Dement. Voice vote. 4 yes, 0 no, 1
absent. Meeting adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
