MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE RICHMOND
COMMON COUNCIL SERVING AS A COMMITTEE IN
CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE RICHMOND
POWER AND LIGHT
DECEMBER 2, 1963
Regular session was called to order by, Chairman Marino at 7:00 PM in the
Council Chambers in City Hall - All members present - The following
business was had to wit :
Councilman Johnson moved that the reading of the minutes of the previous
meeting be dispensed with, seconded by Councilman Lawler, unanimous
voice vote.
Councilman Youngflesh moved that the bills in the amount of - $77,437. 17
Plus two Pay Rolls of : - 82,817.28
be allowed and paid, seconded by Councilman Corsi, unanimous voice
vote.
Councilman Youngflesh moved that the Board of Directors approve the
Annual Christmas. Gift of $5 .00 to all Richmond Power an Light Employees,
seconded by Councilwoman C. L. Hoskins , unanimous voice vote.
Councilman Yount made the motion to adopt the proposed 1964 Budget for
the operation of the RP & L of $3,324.600, seconded by Councilman Corsi,
unanimous voice vote,
Councilman Yount moved that the Board of Directors adopt the 1964 Budget
proposed for construction of $.627.000, seconded by Couxpilman Corsi,
unanimous voice vote.
Councilman Yount moved that all five (5) bids submitted for a 1964
automobile be .rejected and the specifications be re-advertised, as
the cars bid were not comparable, some being.of compacts and some of
standard sizes , seconded by Councilwoman C. L. Hoskins , unanimous
voice vote. ,
Councilman Yount moved that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by
Councilman Corsi, unanimous voice vote.
