OF THE MEETING OF THE RICHMOND COMMON COUNCIL SERVING AS A COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE RICHMOND POWER AND LIGHTo NOVEMBER 4, 1963 Regular session was called to order at 7:00 PM by Chairman Marino inn the Council Chambers in City Hall - All members present - The following business was had to wit : Councilman Johnson moved that the reading of the minutes of the pre- vious meeting be dispensed with, seconded by Councilwoman C. L. Hoskins, unanimous voice vote. Councilman Yount moved to allow and pay bills in the amount of: $69,840.80 Plus- 3 Payrolls - 140,106.32 motion seconded by Councilwoman C. L. Hoskins, unanimous voice vote. FOR INVESTMENT AUTHORIZED OCTOBER 21, 1963 $195,000.00 US Treasury Bills from Cash Reserve $193,921.65 The Board of Directors authorized General Manager Beck to negotiate with the American Aggregates Corporation for the purchase of appro. 1 mile of 13.8 KV Line. The Board authorized General Manager Beck to advertise for bids for a new autombile to replace the 1955 DeSoto. Councilman Youngflesh moved to award the lamp contract - 2 years - to the Richmond Electric Company, seconded by Councilman Johnson, unanimous voice vote. Councilman Yount moved that the meeting be adjourned, there being no further business, seconded by Councilman Johnson, unanimous voice::: vote. Frank Marino - President Attest: G. J. Chapman - Clerk
