MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE
RICHMOND COMMON COUNCIL SERVING AS
A COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION
OF RICHMOND POWER AND LIGHT.
October 7) 1963
Regular session was called to order at 7:00 PM by Chairman Marino in
Council Chambers in City Hall- All members present - The following Bus-
iness was had to witi
Councilman Yount moved that the reading of the minutes of the previous
meeting be dispensed with, seconded by Councilman C. L. Hoskins, un-
animous voice vote.
Councilman Henn moved to allow and pay bills in the amount..:of:-$135.502.85
Plus - Two Payrolls - 80.215.32
motion seconded by Councilman Johnson, unanimous voice vote.
Report of Purchase Authorized Sept. 16. 1963
For Investment - $125,000.00 U. S. Treasury Bills from Cash Reserve
$121,343. 3
Councilwoman C. L. Hoskins moved to authorized General Manager Beck to
accept the bid of Elmer I. Woodruff to rent ground of the Richmond Power
and Light for garming purposes for 1964 - rent for the approx. 40 acres
to be $372.50, seconded by Councilman Yount , unanimous voice vote.
There being no further business - Councilman Yount moved that the meet-
ing be adjourned, seconded by councilman Johnson, unanimous voice vote.
