In Charge Of The Operation Of The Richmond
Power End Light
September 3, 1963
Regular session was called to order at 7:00 PM, Tuesday September,3,
1963- Monday September,2, being a holiday- (Labor Day) in the Council
Climbers in City Hall - Councilman Johnson was absent. - The following
business was had to wit;
Councilman J. Hoskins moved that the minutes of the previous meeting
be dispensed with, seconded councilman Lawler, unanimous voice vote.
Councilman Corsi moved to allow and pay bills in the amount of:• $59,066.11
Interest paid on 1953 Revenue Bonds- 600.00
Two Payrolls - 81,578. 85
seconded by Councilman Lawler, unanimous voice vote
The Board approved the following:
Transfer from Cash Operating Fund to Utility Bond Fund
for refund from First National Bank for coupons purchased
that ' were not ours. 162.50
Investments Purchased:
$100,000 US Treasury Bills from Depreciation Fund --- Cost 96,829.33
5,000 " ff from Consumers Deposit Fund " 4,943. 65
" IT 34590001 from Cash Reserve Fund---- H 341,111. 85
General Manager Beck presented proof of publication that this date had
been setto open sealed bids for two ( 2) Automobiles, Councilman Yount
moved that the proofs be accepted and filed, seconded by Councilman J.
Hoskins, unanimous voice vote. The following bids were-opened:
