MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE RICHMOND
COMMON COUNCIL SERVING AS A COMMITTEE
IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE
RICHMOND POWER AND LIGHT
MARCH 4, 1963 -
Regular session was called to order by Chairman Marino at 7 :00 PM,
in the Council Chambers in City Hall: Councilwoman C. Hoskins,
Councilmen Lawler and J. Hoskins absent. The following business
was had to wit:
Councilman Johnson moved that the reading of the minutes of the pre-
vious meeting be dispensed with, seconded by Councilman Yount, un-
animous voice vote.
Councilman Henn moved that the bills in the amount of :- - $77,252.98
be allowed and paid, seconded by Councilman Johnson, unanimous voice
vote.
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS APPROVED THE FOLLOWING TRANSACTIONS:
Investment in U.S. Treasury bills from Cash Reserve Fund-Civil City
$142 , 988.85
Investment in U.S. bills from Consumers ' Deposit Fund
4, 930.65
Two Payrolls 76, 411 .94
Interest Coupons 48.75
General Manager Beck reported that the generation for the plant was
up 5.8% to date this year over the same period in 1962.
General Manager Beck said that a proposal to purchase from the Pub-
lic Service Company of Indiana approx. 13 miles of lines; envolving
72 customers for $58,352.00 was being studied.
General Manager, Beck reported that the new service building has been
accepted and the moving in of equipment has been stetted, and would
be nearly complied this weekend.
There being no further business, Councilman Johnson moved that the
meeting be adjourned, seconded by Councilman Yount, unanimous
voice vote.
