JANUAR.Y 7, 1963 II Regular session .was called to order by Chairman Marino at 7 :00 PM in the Council Chambers in City Hall . All members were present. The following business was had to wit : Councilman Yount moved that the reading of the -minutes of the previous meeting be dispensed with, seconded by Councilwoman C. Hoskins , unanimous voice vote. Councilman Youngflesh moved for the allowing and payment of : Bills in the amount of : $128,503.56 Interest & Liquidation of 1953 Rev. Bonds 112 ,267.50 Two Payrolls 76,624.83 Purchase U.S. Treasury Bonds and Pay accrued interest for same from Cash Reserve Fund 100,619.57 Pay City Dividend from Cash Reserve Fund 582 ,231.15 motion seconded by Councilman Yount , unanimous voice vote. General Manager Beck reported that the annual dinner of Richmond ' s Committee of 100 at 7:00 PM eanuary 31, 1963 in Earlhmrn Hall , and in- vited Councilmmembers to be guests of the Richmond Power and Light. II Councilman -Yount moved that the Board of Directors authorize General Man- ager Beck to advertise for bids for the replacement of a 1954 Plymouth, seconded by Councilman Youngflesh, unanimous voice vote. General Manager Beck reported that the sustem demand for 1962 was 9.1% up over that of 1961. The Street Lighting Committee submitted the following recommendations for new Street Lighting in 1963: (1) Continuation of Main Street Lighting from 12th St. to the Elks Country Club Road. (2) Continuation of Main Street Lighting west across the Main St . Bridge to West 5th Street; Southwest 1st St . from Main St . to Nat ' l Rd . from 1st Street to West 18th Street. (3) from National Road Northward on Northwest 5th Street to City Limits . (4) U.S. $ 27 south from Railroad Bridge to intersection of #227 . (5) Continue Lights on Chester Blvd. Northward to IRr70,,,(if funds,aret available) (6) Check possibility of annexing right-of-way along US 27 North through Spring Grove for Street Lighting purposes. II Joseph E. HoskinW,president of Richmond Common Council announced that Councilman Frank Marino has been reappointed Chairman of the Richmond Power and Light Board of Directors by him. Frank Marino, chairman of the Richmond Power and Light Board of Directors , announced that he has named the following committees for 1963. FINANCE COMMITTEE Chairman - Corsi Henn C. Hoskins BUILDING & GROUNDS COMMITTEE Chairman - J. Hoskins Lawler Johnson 56 STREET LIGHTING COMMITTEE Chairman - C. Hoskins Yount WAGES & BENEFITS COMMITTEE ' "' Chairman - Frank Marino J.
