MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE RICHMOND
COMMON COUNCIL SERVING AS A COMMITTEE IN
CHARGE OF THE RICHMOND,POWER AND LIGHT
MAY 21t 1962
Regular session was Galled to order by Chairman Marino at 7:00
PM in the Council Chambers in City Hall: Councilman Snithmeyer
absent - The following business was had to wit:
Councilman J. Hoskins moved that the reading of the previous
meeting be dispensed with, seconded by Councilman Corsi, unani-
mous voice vote.
Councilwoman CUN e' inS' i m'itedAhat :the bills in the amount of
$108,824.16 be allowed and paid, seconded by Councilman Henn,
unanimous voice vote.
THE-_BOARD APPROVED THE FOLLOWING TRANSFERS FROM CASH OPERATING
FUND:.
to: Depreciation Reserve Fund 36,000.00
Reserve Fund Cash 46,004.04
Utility Bond Fund Cash 26,949.72
Chairman Marino presented proof of publication that this date
had been set to open sealed bids for the purchase of Street
Light Materials, Councilman Yount -moved that the proofs be
accepted and filed, seconded by Councilman Corsi, unanimous
voice vote. , The following bids were opened and read by City
Attorney Cecere:
Richond Electric Co. $63;461 .87
Joslyn Co. - - - 65,445.00
Westinghouse 63,706.30
Gen.Electric of Dayton - - 58,031.40

Councilman Yount moved that the bids be referred to General
Manager Beck for computation and recommendation, seconded by
Councilman Youngflesh, unanimous voice vote.
Councilman Johnson moved that $1004,000.00 from Cash Reserve ,
Fund be used to purchase bonds, seconded by Councilman Henn,
unanimous voice vote.
Chairman Marino reported that the custoners purchased from the
Public Service Co. of Indiana, would be cut over to the Richmond
Power and Light May 22, 1962.
Councilwoman C. Hoskins moved that General Manager Beck be auth-
orized to advertise for bids for the replacement of two (2)
service trucks, seconded by Councilman Corsi, unai sous voice
vote.
Councilman Yount moved that the ' meeting be adjourned, seconded by
Councilman Johnson, unani!ous voice 'vote.
