MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE RICHMOND
• COMMON COUNCIL SERVING AS A COMMITTEE
IN CHARGE OF THE RICHMOND POWER AND LIGHT.
December f, 1961
Regular session was called to order by-Chairman Marino at 7:00 P.M. in the Council
Chambers in City Hall; all members were present. The following business was
had, to-wit:
Councilman Johnson moved that the reading of the minutes of the previous meeting
be dispensed with, seconded by Councilman J. Hoskins, unanimous voice vote.
Councilman Johnson moved that the bills in the amount of $55,148.82

be allowed and paid, seconded by. Councilman Corsi, unanimous voice vote.
The Board of Directors approved the following transactions: •
Transfer from Cash Operating Fund to
Utility Bond Fund 4,600.00
Purchase of 1953 Revenue Bonds and pay
accrued Interest thereon 4-,661,25
Councilman Yount moved that the Richmond Power and Light be authorized to give
the employees a $5.00 check as a Christmas gift, seconded by Councilman Youngflesh
unanimous voice vote.
Councilman Yount moved that the lamp contrast, be awarded to the Universal
Electric Co. , seconded by Councilman Corsi, unanimous voice vote.
- General Manager Beck reported that the Light Plant and the Public Service
Company of Indiana are far apart in their negotiations to transfer customers
at this time, but negotiations were still in progress.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
