JULY 17, 1961 Regular session was called to order by Chairman Marino at 7:00 PM, in the Council Chambers in City Hall - Councilman Henn absent - The following business was had to wit: Councilman J. Hoskins moved that the: reading of the minutes of the previous meeting be dispensed with, seconded by Councilman Johnson, unanimous voice vote. Councilman Youngflesh moved that the bills in the amount of --$115,668.18 Plus the following transfers from cash operating fund: To .utility bond fund $27,432.18 To depreciation reserve fund 36,000.00 To cash reserve fund 46,936.03 110,368.21 Plus interest on 1953 revenue bonds 30,281.25 Plus purchase of U. S. Govt. Bonds & accrued Int. .for investment of.A Cash Reserve Fund 100,312.50 • Depreciation,Reserve Fund 100,312.50 TOTAL $456,942.64 be allowed and paid, seconded by Councilman Yount, unanimous voice vote. General Manager. Beck, submitted a review of the financial and operating statistics for the first six months of 1961 compared with the same period • of 1959 and 1960, an increase in revenue and income was reported for each period. Councilman J. Hoskins, on behalf of the Council commended Mr. Beck on the excellent report. 111 General Manager Beck presented members of Council the preliminary plans for the new light plant service building, drawn by the R. W. Clinton & Associates of Richmond. Mr. Beck said that final drawings would be ready at an early date. - • There being no further business, Councilman Johnson moved that the meeting ' be adjourned, seconded by Councilman J.
