MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE
COMMON COUNCIL SERVING AS A
COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE
OPERATION OF THE RICHMOND POWER
AND LIGHT PLANT
March 20, 1961
Regular session was called to order by Chairman Marino at 7:00 PM, in
the Council Chambers in City Hall, Richmond, Indiana, All members
present. The following business was had to wit:
Councilman J. Hoskins moved, that the reading of the minutes of the
previous meeting be dispensed with, seconded by Councilman Johnson,
unanimous voice vote.
Councilman Salzarulo moved, that the bills in the amount of $66,425.20
Plus Interest on.1953 Revenue Bonds 321.25
Plus Transfers from Cash Operating Fund:
To Utility Bond Fund 27,636.53
To Depreciation Reserve Fund 36,000.00
To Cash Reserve Fund 61,276.45
Total $191,659.43
be allowed and paid, seconded by Councilman Youngflesh, unanimous voice
vote.
Chairman Marino announced, that a meeting to discuss matters concerning
the proposed new Service Building, would be held April 10, 1961, at the
Whitewater Valley Station.
Manager_Beck presented to City Attorney Cecere a list of equipment
purchased with dates and bids received .from Electrical Company involved
in Antitrust case.
There being no further business, Councilman J. Hoskins moved, that the
meeting adjourn, seconded by Councilman Johnson, unanimous voice vote.
