The Board of rublie works of the amity of xiehmond met at tra
uffice of said hoard on Wednesday, nay 24ti, 11r59 in reg-
ular session, at 10 'clock A. n. All the nembers of laid
Board being present, vizs Messrs, Zeller, Davenport an-1
nosa, the following proceedings were had, ro-wits
on motion it was ordered that the following improve-ents would
be made in the Police Department, The luting of Police
quarters, papering of auperintend ents office, and now cur-
tains and linoleum in ttie Private office,

to be renewed at same figure
as before, or

.,n motion it was resolved that sidewalk ordered by resolution
number 3 be advertised according to lawe
On motion it was ordered and resolved that sidewalk ordered by
resolution number 4 be advertised according to law.
- on motion the Pavillion at Glen Hiller Park and house occupiad
by the Superintendent was ordered to be wired for electric
lihjht and superintendent of municipal Plant directed to
have work done and connected w`_th plant for service.
Cn motion the Clerk was instructed to advertise for Coal necessary
for the several departments of the City.
There being no further business the Board did then sdicnrn.
