The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, lnciaeL, ¢et at the office of said Board on Wednesday June 7th, 15C5, in regUlcr session, Messr s, Zeller and Rosa being prevent. Wr. Davenport being absent on account of sickr.esne The fnllnwing nroc"dinar, were had, To -wit; Resolution number 8 was taken up, and considered, and after hearing all persons who appeared and being fully tdvisod in the premises, the Board decided that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for the improvement therein designated are equal to its estimated costs as the same enpeers from t*e report of the City Engineer, and thereupon the Board takes final action upon said Resolution, as originally adopted the same being confi- rmed without modification* on motion the Clerk was instructed to advertise for bide for t*e improvement designated in Resolution number Be Bids were then opened for the improvement of the Kest side of No We 1st, St, from Richmond Avenue to Chestnut St, and on the South side of Chestnut St, from West 18t, to West 5th, Sts, and on the North side of Chestnut St, from West 1st, to West Ind, Sts, as designated in Resolution number ', The folinwin` Cnntrpetnrs 141d- ding on said work; Messr's Schneider, Burkhardt and Cronin. It being shown that Mr. Cronin was the lowest and best Bidder for said Work, The following Resolution was adopted by the Board; Be It Resolved by the Board of public Works of the City of Richmond, That said Board does determine and hereby orders that the improvement as designated in Resolution number Three, 0 ) be made and constructed according to the plans, snecifica- tions and estDmate of cost heretofore made by the City Civil Eng- ineer, And the Bid of said John Fe Cronin, as aforesaid for said cork, the sane being the lowest and best bid made therefor, and within the estimate of cost rade by the City Civil FnRineer, is hereby accepted and a contract for said work nwareed to him ac- cordingly, And the City Attorney of said City is hereby required and directed to cause a written cortrnct for said work to be en- tered into between said City and said John F. Cronin, in accord- ance with the Bid so made by him, and in ell respects in connfor- mlty with the laws of the State of Indiana, end with t rrovis- ions of this Resolution. This Resolution was adopted by the unanimous vote Of tfie Bard, Messrs, Zeller and Rose voting Aye* 2;
