Wednesday July 25th, 1905, The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at the Office of said Board on Wednesday July .2.6th, 19n5, at In O'Clnck A M, in reVlar session, All the members of said Board being present; viz, Messr s, Zeller, Davenport and Rosa. T'ne following procedings gore had, To -wit: Bids were received for the construction of the improvement designated in Improvement Resolution number Six (6) Providing for the constrrue- tion of cement sidewalks on both sides of North Eighth (Ath) street, from the P. C. C. & St. L, Rye to North I Street, Which bids were as follows' John H, A. Schneider Bid 5nd ner lineal Ft, for the sidewalk, and 91.24 per Sq for sodding. John F. Cronin Bid 57y per lineal Ft, for the sidownllc, cad 41."5 per Sq, for sodding. John Atkinson Bid 60� nor lineal Ft, for the sidewalk, and $5C900 for sodding so sgr's. Daniel G. Burkhardt Bid 64.E per lineal Ft, for Sidewalk, and 61.5n per Sq for sodding. On motion the Board decided to eliminate the sodding in this improvement. lire Rosa then moved that the contract for the improvement ns desig- nated in Resolution number 6 without the sodding be awarded to John F. Cronin. Motion prevailed. All the members of the Board voting In t:'e affirmative. Bids were received for the nonst''niction of the inprovement designated in Improvoment Resolution number six f# (11) Providing for the Grad- ing, Graveling and Bouldering of the alley south of Main St, between S 13th, and 14th, Streets, from the second alley south of Main St, running 'east and 'West, to South A Ste which bids were as follows; John F, Cronin Bid $1.63 per lineal 1't.
