OF, THE CITY OF RICHMOND,INDIANA. SERVING AS
A COMMITTRP IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE
MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC. LIGHTING AND P0WER PLANT®
MONDAY. JULY 1® 1957
Regular meeting called to order at 7:00 PM in Council Chambers in City Halle
Councilman Marino presiding. All members present.- The following business was
had, to-wit; -
Councilman Smithmeyer moved the reading of the minutes of the previous meeting
be dispensed with. Seconded by Councilman Eastman. Unaminous.
Councilman uivian moved the bills be allowed. Seconded by Councilman Walterman.

Mr. Beck reported the systemoemand for June was down 6.29% from June of 1956
and the peak load down 1.57% for the same period. .
Mr. Beck also reported the railroad freight rate was going up 100 per ton of
coal and this would mean an increase of $12,000.00 per year in Light Plant
expenses. .

Claire in the amount of $238,550.99 were allowed.
There btking no further business, on motion duly made and seponded, the meeting
adjourned.
