OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND,INDIANA, SERVING AS
A COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE
MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC.LIGHTING AND POWER PLANT,
JUNE 18,1957
SPECIAL MEETING
A special meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM inCity Hall in the office of the
Mayor, Councilman Eastman presiding. Absent-Cpuncilman Smithmeyer & Marino. The
following business was had, to-wit; _
The Presiding Officer declared this .special meeting had been called to discuss the
purchase of $300,000000 Richmond,Indiana, Electric Revenue Bonds at 92 3/ of face .-
value, as offered by,John Nuveen & Company of Chicago.
After a discussion led by Mr. Beck, Councilman Thomas made a motion that these bonds
not be purchased. Seconded by Councilman Salaarulo. The following vote was recorded;
Nays-Vivian & Walterman., Ayes-Eastman, Crum, Salzarulo, Thomas & Hoskins,
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
