MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING AND POWER PLANT.
MONDAY, JUNE 3, 1957
Regular meeting called to order at 7:00 P.M. in Council Chambers in City Hall.
Councilman Marino,, presiding. All members present. The following business
was had,—to-wit;
Minutes dispensed with.
Councilman Smithmeyer moved the bills be allowed. Seconded by Councilman Crum.

Air. Beck reported the system demand was down 7.75% and the peak load down 6.82%

_ A copy of the Interconnection Contract with Indiana-Michigan was given each Council.,man and Mr. Beck discussed this contract. He asked the Councilman to study the -con-
tract and he woy1d call a meeting to discuss this along with future plans of the
MEL & PP '
Mr. Beck read a memo from Light Plant Employeets Committee in which they asked for
a 3.5% wage adjustment on hourly rate and a weventh paid holiday. Councilman Crum
moved this be referred to Mr. Beck for study and recommendation. Seconded by
Councilman Salzarulo.
There being no further business, on motion duly made and seconded, the meeting
adjourned,.

Claims in the amount of $1140494.87 were allowed. '
