APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
ATLANTIC ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTIONS, INC.
PHASE II ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
REMEDIAL INVESTIGATION FOR ARTHUR KILL SHORELINE &
RIPARIAN AREAS / NORTH BLOCK 304 A
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough ") is in need of specialized
environmental services with regard to Phase II Environmental Services Remedial
Investigation for Carteret Waterfront Park Arthur Kill Shoreline & Riparian Areas; North
Block 304 A; and
WHEREAS, Atlantic Environmental Solutions, Inc., possesses the requisite knowledge
and expertise to provide such services; and
WHEREAS, Atlantic Environmental Solutions, Inc. has submitted a proposal to provide
said services at a maximum cost not to exceed $158,719.00; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available
for the same. Account # G- (Y4 -17- 107 -201
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret as follows:
1. The proposal by Atlantic Environmental Solutions, Inc., 5 Marine
View Plaza, Suite 401, Hoboken, NJ 07030, for Phase II
Environmental Services Remedial Investigation for Carteret
Waterfront Park Arthur Kill Shoreline & Riparian Areas; North
Block 304 A (Tasks 1.2, 2.0 & 3.0) in an amount not to exceed
$158,719.00 billable, is hereby approved.
2. This award is made as a professional services contract pursuant to
N.J.S.A. 40A:11 -5(1) (a) awarded pursuant to the Borough's Fair
and Open process as authorized by law.
