A COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPE_RATiON OF THE
M NiCiPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING AND PO .H'R PLANT:
MONDAY, AUGUST 20; 1956
The Corlmon Council of the_City of Richmond, Indiana,_ serving as a_Committee in Charge
of the Operation of the Municipal Electric Lighting and Power Plant, met in regular
session._in the Council Chambers in_the City Hall in said City, Monday, August 20, 1956,
at the hour of 6:00 o'clock P.M. (CST). Councilman Salzarulo presiding with_the follow-
ing members being present: Messrs. Crum, Eastman., Hoskins, Marino, Thomas and Igaltermann,
Councilmen Vivian and Smithmeyer being absent. The following business was had, to-wit:
Councilman Thomas moved and Councilman Waltermann seconded that the minutes of the
previous meeting be approved as published. _
Councilman Thomas moved and Councilman Crum seconded that the bills be allowed. _
Councilman Salzarulo reported that on ?eptember 17, 1956, bids would be opened for
30' addition to the smoke stack at the Whitewater Valley Generating Plant.
The claims in the amount of $135,894.01. were allowed, Of this amount the following
transfers were made: The sum of
$30,812.50 from Cash Operating Fund to Utility Bond Fund
36,000.00 from Cash Operating Fund to Depreciation Reserve Fund
21,255.44 from Cash Operating Fund to Cash Reserve Fund
1,952.79 from Depreciation Reserve Fund Cash.to Cash. Operating Fund
68.48 from Consumers Deposit interest Fund Cash to Cash Operating Fund,
There being no further business presented, on motion,duly made, seconded and carried,
the meeting adjourned,
