MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, SERVING AS
A COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE
MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING AND POWER PLANT.
MONDAY AUGUST 6, 1956
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a Committee in
Charge of the Operation of the Municipal Electric Lighting and Power Plant, met
in regular session in the Council Chambeits in the City Hall in said City, Monday,
August 6, 1956, at the hour of 7:00 o'clock F.M. (CST). Councilman Salzarulo
presiding with the following members being present: Messrs. Crum, Eastman;, Hoskins,
Marino-, Thomas and Waltermann.- Councilmen Smithmeyer and Vivian being absent,
The following business was had, to-wit: -
Councilman Marino moved and Councilman Thomas seconded that the minutes of the
previous meeting be approved as published. -
Councilman Marino moved the bills be allowed, seconded by Councilman Thomas.
Councilman Crum moved that Mr. Beck be authorized to advertise for bids for 30 ft.
addition to stack at Nhitewater Valley Generating Plant, seconded by Councilman
Eastman.
Claims in the amount of $260,666.50 were allowed. , Of this amount the following
transfers were made: The sum of
$50,000.00 from Cash Operating Fund to Cash Reserve Fund
23,927.50 from Utility Bond Fund to Cash Operating Fund
4,922.95 from 'Utility Bond Fund to Cash Operating Fund
333,75 from Utility Bond Fund to Cash Operating Fund -
450.00 from Utility- Bond Fund to Cash Operating Fund -
802.19 from Utility Bond Fund to Cash Operating Fund
There being no further business presented on motion duly made, seconded and
carried, the meeting adjourned.
