Subject: Wapro Valve Installation — Construction Plan / Revised Pricing
Dear Mr. Nazzaro:
EMC Divers, Inc. (EMC) has completed inside diameter measurements of all pipes designated for
Wapro valve installation. Several changes in pipe size were identified as well as issues associated
with obstructions that will affect valve installation. Below is the construction plan and revised
pricing based on this information.
The pipes that have obstructions and present challenges are # 1 and #10. The remainder of the
pipes are fairly straight forward installations. Through conversation with you, Richard Neal and
your engineer we have a valve design approved to resolve the installation of the #10 valve. After
our last meeting we agreed that the #1 valve would need additional evaluation to determine if a
24" valve can be inserted without interference from an adjacent concrete piling. The plan to move
forward with the #1 valve is to remove the remainder of the duck bill to clear the opening of the
pipe. This is estimated to take an additional day. Then take the 24" valve designated for pipe #8
and attempt to install it at the #1 site. If it can be installed in the #1 pipe we will install it and order
a new valve for the #8 pipe. If it cannot be installed we will regroup to come up with a solution.
This will be done once the bulk of the valves have been received and installation is underway.
Based on changes in pipe sizes and modified designs the original pricing has changed. The revised
pricing is listed below. This pricing assumes that the #1 valve can be resolved with the installation
of a standard 24" valve.

NOTE: Valve #10 is a special order and has a 60 day lead time that will push installation out to
near the end of our final completion date.
