OF THE OPERATION OF THE • MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING AND POWER PLANT. MONDAY, JUNE 18, 1956. The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a Committee in Charge of the Operation of the Municipal Electric Lighting and Power Plant, met in regular session in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in said City, Monday, June 18, 1956, at the hour of 6:00 o'clock P.M. (CST). Councilman_ Salzarulo presiding with the following members being present: Messrs. Crum, Eastman, Hoskins, Marino, Smithmeyer, IIIThomas, Vivian and Waltermann. The following business was had, to-wit: . Councilman Waltermann moved that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as published, seconded by Councilman Smithmeyer. On voice vote was unanimously carried. Councilman Crum moved that the bills be allowed and paid. Seconded by Councilman Eastman. On voice vote was unanimously carried. The meeting was turned over to Mr. Beck. c'`*' Mr. Beck reported he had been in contact with the manufacturers of dust collecting r • equipment to see if such equipment could be redesigned at the generating plant. a . Commenting on the Home Show, Mr. Beck remarked that the display of the Light Plant d in the 1956 Home Show was the best that the Light Plant had ever had and that it attracted considerable attention. Mr. Beck reported he had a letter from the State Highway Department regarding the installation of a traffic light at North 10th and "J" Street. and that the Light Plant would make the installation as soon as the materials were received. . There being no further business presented, on motion duly made, and seconded, the meeting was adjourned. III Claims in the amount. of $128,257.26 were allowed. Of this amount the following transfers were made: The sum of $36,000.00 from Cash Operating Fund to Depreciation Reserve Fund 24,345.97 from Cash Operating Fund to Cash Reserve Fund . 13,298.68 from Depreciation Cash Reserve Fund to Cash Operating Fund 93.30 from Consumers- Deposit Fund Interest to Cash Operating Fund 'ems-f, 14 1/4-1-42 • Chairman' Attest: /(%C /...oe' A L�Qv1__ City Clerk
