MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL '
OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, SERVING AS
A COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE
MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING AND POWER PLANT.
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 1954.
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as
a Committee in Chage of the Operation of the Municipal Electric
Lighting and. Power Plant, met in regular session in the Council
Chambers in the City Hall in said City, Monday, November 15,
1954, at the hour of 7:00 o' clock P.M. (CST) . .Councilman Tracy
presiding with the following members being present: Messrs. Alkire,
Eastman, Kettelford.er, Law, Marino, Riggleman, Salzarulo and
Youngflesh. The following business was had, to--wit:
On motion duly made, seconded and carried, the minutes of the
previous meeting were dispensed with.
Mr. Beck presented the report of 1949, 1950,. 1951, 1952 and 1953
from the State Board of Accounts.
Motion was made by Councilman Riggleman, seconded by Councilman
Eastman, that the Light Plant pay $100. 00 fee and 825. 00 incidental
expenses in the Y.M. C.A. Commercial Basketball League.
It was announced that bids would be opened on January 17, 1955, on
a 4 KV Station Bus Switch Gear and load ratio control transformers.
Claims in the amount of 8580, 836. 08 were allowed. Of this amount
the following transfers were made: The sum of
•
$2900. 87 from Construction Account Fund to Cash -
Operating Fund.
$2765.00 from Depreciation Reserve Fund Cash to
Cash Operating Fund.
There being no further business presented on motion duly made,
seconded and carried, the, meeting adjourned.
