The matter of the Grading, Graveling and Bouldering o"f(P

in Improvement Resolution number 57, was again considered
but definite action postponed until a report has been had
from the City Attorney, in reference to the mrnlmd ownedh

to S F Street, as provided for by Improvement Resolution
number 54, was considered, and after hearing all the pe"

The cater of the improvement of South Llst, street, By tun
construction of cement sidewalks and cement cdrbe and gr:ttcrs
on both sides thereof, from Main Stre=t, to South B Street,
as proviaed for by Improvement Resolution number, 55, was con-
sidered, and after hearing all the rersons who arreared, the
Board decided to postno^.e final act'_^_n for ten daye,
The matter of the improvanent of the east -side of South I3th,
street, By the construction of a cement sidewalk thereon, frc-
Main Street, to South A. Street, as provided for by Improvement
Resolution number 56, was considered, and the Board after hearir-
all the rersons who amPar=d irterested in Paid retter, to post-
pone finc.l action for `_en days.
The matter of the construction of a cement sidewalk on the
..ast side of South 9th, street, from South b Street, to Sout
H street, as _provided for by Improvement Resolution number
57, was considered, and after hearing all the rersons who
appeared interested in said r.etter, The Board decided that
the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said ivrr-
rovement would ecual or exceed its estirated costs as shown by
the estimate made by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon
said Resolution was confirmed as originally adopted, without
modification. All the r:embers of the Board voting in the affirm-
ative,
The following bids were received for the improvement proviaed
for by Improvement Resolution number 49, Providing for the con-
structp ionof cement sidewalk on the North side of North C Street,
from North Llst street to North rtnd, street,
Daniel C. Burkhardt Bid�59� per lineal foot fnr cement Pid""P14
and 60� per lineal foot for cross4alks,
John t.tkinson Bid 60� per lineal foot for whole.:dmprovement.
Turner & Burkhardt Bid 55¢ per lineal foot for whole improvement.
Charles E, Renshaw Bid 56 per lineal foot for whole improvement.
On Motion of Mr. Davenport the contract was awarded to
Turner & Burkhardt.
