The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, India,
met in regular session at the office of said Board, Friday
April 20th, 1906. at 10 C Clork A. Y.�All t`e members of
said Board being present, Vizi- Messr s Zeller, Davenport
and Rosa, The following proceedings were had, to-wlts-

strustior of cement eurbing and cement sidewalks on bet*
sides of South 21st, Street, frcr. Main Street to SouthB
street, wes taken up and consideredg and after hearing all
persons whc appeared interested in said matter, The Board
decided that the benefits to property liable to be assessed
for said improvement would equal or exceed its estirated
costs as shown by the eatirstp radp fir said imrrovementll

Board voting in favor of said confirration.
Improverent Resolution number 56, providing for the constru-
stior. of a cement sidewalk on the East side of Neegih-190r
sheet South 11th, street., from Vain Street to South A str"!
was taken up and considered, and after hearing all the rerx
who appeared interested in said improvement, the Board decido
that the benefits to prorerty liable to be assessed forseld
improvement would equal or exceed its estimated cost ea sdoe
by the estimate made therefor by the City Civil Engtn°er,m'
thereupon said original Resolution was confirmed withoutaed•
ification, All the members of the Board vcting in favor of
such confirmation.
A petition was rresented for the Grading, Ornvelin/ end n,
Bouldering of the alley between Randolph and Lincoln str
from West 4th Street to West bth Street, same was referred -
Engineer for plans, and resolution ordered prepared.
On Motion of Mr. Davenport, it was ordered that the Fichsoa

the following proceedings were hadi to -wit; -
Improvement Resolution number 5a, providing for the construct. --
of cement sidewalks on both =idea of Main Street, from 12th s'
to 275rd street, was again taken up and considered, But or. of Mr. Rosa, Final action was deferred for one week, May
A Remonstrance was presented against Improvement Resolution
number 59, signed by Ellwood McGuire and others, the same was
placed din file. with the City Civil Engineer for a report.
On Motion of Mr. Rosa, the clerk was instructed to advertise
for bids for the construction of the improvement provided for
by Improvement Resolution member 5'7, (The construction Of ce^'snt
sidewalk on the East side of South Oth street, from South "E"
street to South "H" street.)
A Petition was presented, signed by Frank Steinkamp and others
asking for the modification of Improvement Resolution number
55, The same was received and placed on file.
Improvement Resolution number 6n, Providing for the Grading,
Graveling and Bouldering of the alley running bast and West
between Rando)ph and Lincoln Streets, 1'rom West 4th street to
Nest 5th Street, was unanimously adopted by the Board.
Improvement Resolution number 61, Providing for the construction
Of a sanitary sewer in the alley running North and South between
South 15th, and 16th, streets, from Lot 51 Mendenhall & pricceby
Add to South E Street, (Here insert) was unanimously adopted
the Board.
Improvement Resolution number 62, Providing for the Grading,
Graveling and Bouldering of North 15th, stre-:t, from North H St,
to the Whitewater river, (Here insert) was unanimously adopted
by the Board.
