All the members of said Board being present, Messr e, Zeller, Davenport and Rose, The following proceedings were had, to -wits. This being the day for the hearing nerennsinterested in the matter of the construction of sewer In taw Alleys between North 11th and lath streets, as provided for by IRrrovewent Resolution number 59, This matter was taken up and after some consideration and hearing the persona who appeared, the Board, on motion of Mr. Davenport, deciaed to postpone final action for two weeks, (Hay 16th) On Motion of Mr. Rosa, The Clerk was authorized to advertise for bids for the construction of the Impm roveent provided for by 'improvement Resolution number 559 For the construction of cement curbs and gutters and cement sidewalks on both sides of South 21st street, from }Lain Street to South B Street. Bids were now received and opened for the construction of the Improvement provided for by Improvement Resolution number 42, (The constructicn of a cement road way in the alley running North and South between South 1Rth and 19th streets, from the first alley running Last and West South of Main str^=t, to South A Street) Which bids were as follows, Daniel Go G. Burkhardt, Bid 2.85 per lineal foot. Charles E. Henshaw Bid lb per square foot. Henry Nolte Bid $2.40 per lineal foot. On Motion of Mr. Davenport, the contract for this work was awarded to Charles E. Henshaw, All the Board voting in favor Of same. Bids were now received for the construction of the improvement provided for by Improvement Resolutt6n number 51, (The construc- tion of a cement roadway in the first alley south of Main Street running East and West from Scutb lAth street East to the aWhich lley running North and South between S 18th and 1pQ th str. ts) bids were as follows, to -wit: - henry Nolte Bid t.1.60 per lineal foot. Daniel G. Burkhardt Bid 1.30 per lineal foot. Charles Le Henshaw Bid 15� per square foot. On Motion of Mr, Davenport the contract for the work per lfso- lution number 51, was awarded to Charles E. Henshaw. All the members of the Board concurring.
