The Board of Public Norks of the City of Richmond, Indians
mat in regular session at the Office of said Board on wed
ne¢day May 16th, 1906 at to 0 Clock A. I1. All the members
of said Board being present, Viz, Messr s, Zeller, Davenport
and Rosa. The Following Proceedings Were Had To -wit:_
The matter of the improvement of the alleyS between North
llth and 12th streets, between North li Street and the river
by the constr^Sction of a sewer therein, Provided for by Iap.
rovement Resolution. number 59, was taken up and considered,
and after hearing all the persons who appeared interested
in said improvement, on motion of Mr. Davenport, final aet!m
was delayed for two weeks.
The matter of the Improvement of both sides of South 11th
street, from Bain Street to South B Street, by the constrpo-
tion of cement sidewalks thereon, as provided for by depton-
ment Resolution number 63, was considered, and on motiono'
Mr. Rosa, this Resolution was rescinded, All the members a!
the Board concurring.
The Board met to hear remonstrances and take final action
on Declaratory Resolution number 6, Ions, for the veCat"10
"Hawkins Road" from North loth str^et to 23rd street, A R"o
onstrance having been filed by, A. C. Underhill and others,
the Board proceeds to hear the same, and being gully adrissi
in the premises, overrules the same, And now the Board tags
final action on said Resolution confirming without modifi•
cation all former action taken on the same, And the Board
now orders that a list or roll be nrerared of all ownersor
holders of propert and of valuable interests therein,s�
to be taken or to be injuriously affected, which list orrr'
shall describe the property beneficially affected.
This being the day set for hearing in the matter of the""

for the construction nofya cement sidewalk on the Westsid.
Of Test Third Street from Pearl Street to Lincoln street'
to a uniform width of Six (6) feet, The Board after hear'
all the persons who appeared interested decided thatthvt

appears from the Report of the CityCivil Engineer, and

said Resolution being confirmed without modification•

The following bias were received for the Improvement provided
for by improvement Resolution number 55,(The constructioc of
cement curbs and gutters in both sides of South 21st street,
and also the construction of cement sidewalks on both sides
of South 21st street, from Main street to South B Street.)
John H. A. Schneider Bid �1.74 1/2 per lineal foot.
Daniel G. Burkhardt Bid �1,aP rer lineal font.
Charles E. Henshaw Bid t1.44 per lineal foot.
John F. Cronin Bid t1.42 per lineal foot.
On Motion of Mr. Davenport, The contract for the above des-
cribed work was awarded to John H. A. Schneider, All the
members of the Board concurring.
The following bias were received for the construction of
the improvement provided for by Improvement Resolution number
56,(The construction of a cement sidewalk on the East side of
South 13th street, from Main street to South A Street, except
that part already improvedr with cement)
John Atkinson Bid .76Y per lineal foot.
J. F. Cronin Bid .69¢ per lineal foot.
Daniel G. Burkhardt Bid . W per lineal foot.
On Motion of MR. Rosa, the contract for the above described
work was awarded to Dahiel G. Burkhardt, All the members of
the Board concurring.}M
The Final Assessment Roll in the matter of the improvement
Provided for byIm rovement Resolution number 37,(The con-
struction of ay

was approved by the Board, All the members thereof concurrtng.
The Final assessment Roll in the matter of the improvement
Provided for by Improvement Resolution number 49,(The con-
struction of acement sidewalk ob the North side of North C
street from North 21st street to North 22nd street) (here
Insert) was approved by the Board, All the members thereof
concurring,
