OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, SERVING AS
A COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE
MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING AND. POWER PLANT
MONDAYJULY 7, 1952.
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a com-
mittee in charge of the operation of the Municipal Electric Lighting and
Power Plant, met in regular session in the Council Chambers in the City
Hall, in said City, Monday, July 7, 1952, at the hour of 7:00 o' clock
P.M. (CST) . Councilman Alkire presiding with the following members
being present: Messrs. Baldwin, Kettelforder, Law, Marino, Salzarulo
and Tracy. Councilman Eastman and Youngflesh being absent. The
following business was had, to-wit:
On motion duly made, seconded and carried, the minutes of the previous
meeting were dispensed with.
The Clerk presented Proofs of publication printed in the Richmond
Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in Richmond, Indiana,
that this Body would receive and open sealed proposals for furnishing
the Light Plant with one (1) heavy-duty line truck chassis and also
one ( 1) line truck body, on this date. Councilman Law moved that the
proofs be ordered received and filed.
All bids that were received were opened and read aloud and then re-
ferred to the General Manager to tabulate and recommend at the next
regular meeting.
Mr. Beck announced that bids would be received August 4, 1952, for
Auxiliary Pumps and Compressed Air Equipment; Cooling Tower and Heat
Exchange Equipment for the new plant,
The claims in the amount of $113, 773. 97 were allowed.
There being no further business presented, on motion duly made, seconded
and carried, the meeting adjourned.
