The Board of Public works of the City of Richmond„Indiana,
wet in regular session at the Office of said Board on Wednesday,
June 11th, 19ne, at 10 C C1ocv A, M. All the members of said
Board being present. Viz. Messrs Zeller, Davenport and Rosa,
J. F. Taggart, Clerk of said Board being absent, 1'r. Everettl,
Davis Assistant Engineer acted as Clerk Pro 'Tem. The Following
proceedings were had, to -wit: -
A Petition was presented from A. C. Underhill, asking for rentu
sion to construct a cement sidewalk on South 2nd street, and A
street, running on A Street eQ Feet, Walk to be Five feet in wide
Petition was granted.
A Petition was Presented by A. C. Underhill requesting that all
barb wire fences in the City be removed. Referred to the City
Attorney.
The City Attorney was ordered to prepare a Resolution fur the
Improvement of South 11t1h street, from Pouth A Street to South
B Street,
A Petition was Presented for the construction of a cement side-
walk on N W srd Street, rrom Kinsey street to Chestnut Street.
Referred to the Engineer for plans.
A Resolution was ordered for the improvement of sand)tary sewer k
territory between Lain and South A Streets and 20th and 21st Sts.
On Motion of Mr. Davenport the contract for conduitt to be bu'.lt
by the Central Union Telephone Co resented by Mr, Hutton,yRr'
was accepted, Same to be signed by the proper authorities and
copy to be sent to Board.

the following proceedings were had, to-witS-
The matter of the vacation of a Part of Korth loth street, es
provided for by Declaratory Resolution number 7, was taten ut,
snd after some consideration on Lotion of L:r. Davenport final
action was postponed until Thursday June 21st. at 10 O'Clock

l'r. Davenport moved that all the Resollstinns the.t Fre in a position
to be advertised and onr which the ten days had exrired, twat the
Clerk be instructed to advertise for bids for these imrrovements.
Improvement Resolution number 71, providing for the imrrovem:ent of
South llth street by the construction of a cement sidewalk on the
West side thereof, from South "A" Street, to south "B" Str=et was
adopted unanimously by the Board.
Improvement Resolution number 72, Providing for the improvement of
North West Third street, from Kinsey street to Chestnut street, by
the construction of a cement sidewalk along the West side thereof,
to a uniform width of Six (6) feet* was unanimously adopted by the
Board,
The Engineer Presented a report showing tie completion of t*e mid=—
Imnrovement of South 9th street, By the construction of a cement
"alk on the East side thereof from south E Street, to South H Street,
HenrY Nolte, Contractor. The Total cost of the improvement amounted
to 1791*23 Report Approved.
The Engineer presented a report showing the completion of the
Improvement of, South 17th street, By tre construet_or of a cement
sidewalk on the East side thereof, from b'ein st•r'et to South A St,
