The Board of Public 'corks of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the Office of said Board, Friday,
June 2,nd, l9n6, at In 0 Clook A. V . All the members od said
Board being present,viz, Meesr's, Zeller, Davenport and Rosa, The
following proceedings were had, to -wits -
Improvement Resolution number 70, was taken up, providing for the
improvement of South 14th street, from Main street to South C Street,
By the construction of cement curbs and gutters on both sides of
said street from Main street to South C Street, and also for the
construction of cement sidewalks on the East side of said street tm
Main street to South A Street and on the West side from Main street
to South C Street, to a uniform width of Six (8) feet". After heariq
all persons interested who appeared, the Board decided that the
benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement point
equal or exceed its estimated cocts as tie same appears from the
estimate made by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon on Motion
of Mr. Davenport, seid Original Resolution was confirmed unanimous!i
without modification.
The Final Assessment Roll in the matter of the improvemont of North
16th street, By the construction of a cement sidewalk on the East
side thereof, from North F Street to Lot Ao kroffits• Addition as
provided for by Improvement Resolution nnmher 44, r.es arrrovedby
the Board.
The Final Assessment Roll in the matter of the lm roven.ent of Pearl
street, By the construction of cement sidewalks on both sides there
from Rest Third street to West First street and on the North side'
West 4th street to West 5th street as rovided for by Improvement
Resolution number 47, was approved by the Board, all the ,e,,b,rs of
said Board voting in favor of said confirmation.
The Final Asseessment Roll in the matter of the improvement of
Sheridan Street, from Richmond Avenue to School street, By the cdn/
struction of a cement sidewalk on the West side thereof, Provider
for by Improvement Resolution number 24 was approved by the Boer

Improvement Resolution number (7') Providing for the Improvement
of North F Strect, from North 16th street to North 19th str::et,
by the Grading, Graveling and Boulderinr of the Roadway, and the
construction of Graveled sidewalks on both side thereof, was

Mr. Rosa called attention to the bad condition of the gutter
between the first and second alleys on South Fifth street,
(West side) between Main and South A Streets, and recommended
that same be referred to the Engineer and Street Corrissloner.
Same was concurred in by the Board.
Mr. Davenport moved that the Street Commissioner cut off the
drain near the property of ualeb King, in West Fifth Street,
near Main Strl,et, Motion prevailed.
Mr. Rosa called attention to the bad condition of South A
Strect, Same was taken under advisement by the Board.
Mr. Davenport moved tt:at the Street Commissioner open up the Sewer
on North 14th street between Bain and North A Strcet, Prevailed.
Mr. Davenport, moved that the bid of Charles Farnham for Poeo-
hontos Me Re Coal be accepted. Votion prevailed.
Mrs Davenport moved that the Bid of Charles Farnham for Poco-
hontos Lump be accepted. Motion prevailed.
Mrs Davenport moved that the Clerk readvertise for bids for
Steam Coale for the use of the Light Plant, Motion Prevailed.
The Board did then adjourn.
