The Board of Public 'storks of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board on Wsaids,
day, June 27th, at 10 0 Clock A. M. All the members of Bee
being present. Viz, Messrs, Zeller, Davenport and Rosa, The
following proceedings were had, to -wit: -
Improvement Resolution number 69, Providing for the improvement
of North Ninth Street, prom Main street to North A Street,B),
the construction of cement sidewalks on bothsidesthereof, ex.
cept that part already improved with cement. was taken ue,and
on motion of Mr. Rosa, seme was modified by providing for the
making of a cement sidewalk on the Watt side of said street,
from Main street to the second alley North of Main street, to
the width of 12. 1/2 feet. Motion to modify, Prevailed.
Mr. Davenport then moved to modify by leaving all vitrifiedeal
Motion failed.
Mr. Rosa, then moved to lay over until June 29th. Motion rre.
vailed.
The City Civil Engineer presented plans for the improvementof
the first alley South of Main street known as (Smith Street)
from. South bth street to South 6th street, same were accepted,
and Resolution ordered prepared.
The Engineer presented his report shoPring the comrletion of
the improvement of Ridge strt>et, by the construction of ceeent
sidewalks on both sides thereof, from State street to School
street, John F. Cronin, Contractor, The total cost of this
improvement amounted to, $2.669.01. Report approved and assesp
ment roll ordered prepared.
The Engineer presented plans for the improvement of Boyer
street, from School street to State street, by the construction
of cement sidewalks on both sides thereof, same were approved
and Resolution ordered prepared.
A Petition was presented for the removal of Hedge Fence on
State street, This matter was refereed to the City Atty.
The Report of the Flush Tank Inspector, Frank Ralston was
received and placed on file.
Mr. Davenport moved that the Engineer look up the cosnreVeiled,
for Flush tanks and report back to the Board, Motion .
The Board did then adjourn.
