AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING SECTION
§222 -28, ENTITLED SUSPENSION OF PARKING; SCHEDULE OF CLEANING,
OF CHAPTER 222, "STREETS AND SIDEWALKS"
OF CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough ") as follows:
Section 1. § 222 -28 "Suspension of parking; schedule of cleaning" is hereby amended and supplemented
to include the following new paragraph "F"; the balance of same shall remain unchanged:
Name of Street Location Hours Days
Chrome Avenue West Bound Side — entire length 9 am to 1 1 am 1" & 3` Monday
Chrome Avenue East Bound Side -- entire length 9 am to 11 am 2 nd & 4'h Monday
Section 2. All Ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with the provision of this Ordinance are hereby
repealed limited to the extent of any such inconsistency.
Section 3. If any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause or provision of this Ordinance is adjudged invalid,
such adjudication shall apply only to the section, paragraph, subdivision, clause or provision so adjudged
and the remainder of this Ordinance shall be deemed valid and effective.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication according to applicable law.

This ordinance provides for
street cleaning of Chrome Ave-
nue, West Bound Side, 1st and
3rd Monday and East Bound
Side, 2nd and 4th Monday from
9a m to 11 am.
The foregoing ordinance was
introduced at a meeting of the
Council of the Borough of Car-
teret held July 12, 2018 when it
was adopted on first reading.
The said ordinance will be fur-
ther considered on second
reading for final adoption at a
meeting of said Council of the
Borough of Carteret on August
2 2018 at approximately 6:00
P. M., Borough Hall /Council
Chambers, 61 Cooke Avenue,
Carteret, New Jersey at which
time and place all persons inter-
ested will be given an opportu-
nity to be heard.
