OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, MONDAY, • . OCTOBER 3d, 1949. • - The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a committee in charge of the operation of the Municipal Electric Lighting. and Power Plant, III met -in regular session in the office of the Board of Public Works and Safety in the-City Building in said City, Monday, October 3d, 1949, at g:30 o'clock P.M. , Councilman Chambers presiding, with the following members being present: Messrs. • Baldwin, Eastman, Harris, Law, Marino, Myers, Russell and Tracy. On motion. duly !lade, seconded, and carried unanimously, the minutes of the previous'meeting were dispensed with. . Mr. Beck- advised the committee that the plant now has on,hand 18,967 tons of coal. This represents approximately 76 days supply on hand. The plant is now • - turning on the average of 244 tons per day. �l Mr. Beck presented a letter from Dr. Paul D. Williams, Superintendent of the- '� Richmond State Hospital, requesting the Light Plant to furnish proposals on., • ,� rates to said institution for standby service and also complete service. cC - • . The committee unanimously apnroved the General Manager of the Light Plant to • " • make a complete study on the two requests and submit the same to the Richmond State Hospital for their consideration. The committee allowed claims in the amount of .$19,501.31. . . On motion duly made, seconded and carried unanimously, the meeting.adjourned. . =.rr • .
