HomeMy Public PortalAboutM 2014-11-18 - LSACITY OF LYNWOOD AS SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE LYNWOOD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY REGULAR MEETING November 18, 2014 'the City of Lynwood as Successor Agency to the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency met in a regular meeting at Lynwood City Council Chambers, 11330 Bullis Road on the above date at 6:42 p.m. Mayor Castro presiding. Council Members Santillan -Beas, Solache, Hernandez and Castro were present. Council Member Alatorre was absent. Also present were City Manager Beltran, City Attorney Garcia, City Clerk Quinonez and City Treasurer Rodriguez. City Clerk Quinonez announced that the Agenda had been duly posted in accordance with the Brown Act. PUBLIC ORAL COMMUNICATIONS (Regarding Agenda Items Only) NONE NON - AGENDA PUBLIC ORAL COMMUNICATIONS NONE CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Council Member Solache, seconded by Mayor Pro Tern Hernandez to approve the consent calendar and to receive and file staff reports. AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS SANTILLAN -BEAS, SOLACHE, HERNANDEZ AND CASTRO NOES: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBER ALATORRE Item #1. MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETINGS Regular Meeting of November 4, 2014. Item #2. APPROVAL OF THE WARRANT REGISTER RESOLUTION NO. 2014.028 ENTITLED: RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD CITY COUNCIL AS SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE LYNWOOD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, ALLOWING AND APPROVING THE DEMANDS AND WARRANTS CLOSED SESSION Item #3. With respect to every item of business to be discussed in closed session pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9 CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUN SEL — ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Government Code Section 54956.9 (a), 54956.9 (d) (2), 54956.9 (e) (1) Number of Cases: One No reportable action taken. Kane, Ballmer and Berkman will report back on status of fact and circumstances affecting matters involving the Successor Agency in Lynwood. ADJOURNMENT Having no further discussion, it was moved by Council Member Solache, seconded by Council Member Santillan -Beas and carried to adjourn the regular City of Lynwood as Successor Agency to the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency meeting at 9:21 p.m. in memory of Mrs. Nadine Stracker. f.
