MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL ,SERVING AS A
COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE
MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING & POWER PLANT
' OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA.
The Common Council of the City of Richmond , Indiana, serving as a '
Committee in charge of the operation of the Municipal Electric Lighting
& Power Plant of said City, met in the office of the Mayor Monday ,
December 29th,1947 , at 8:00 o'clock P. Itii in a Special Session-- Messrs.
Chambers, Ewbank, Homan, kinder, Marino, Paissell & Tracy being present
the following proceedings were had to-wit; -
The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting Was dispensed worth.
III Mr. Stevens discussed with the Committee the matter of the lack of funds
to meet current bills in various accounts of the Light Plant Budget and
Mr. Kinder moved that the 1947 Light Plant Budget beginning January 1st,
1947 be increased in the amount of 4385,000.00 to meet current bills in the
various accounts. With a second by Homan the motion was unanimously approved.

On the recommendation of Mr. Stevens the bid of Ingersol Rand for equipp- '
,.D ment at tie Light :in the amount of ` 9,35o.-00 for One. Dual, Driven, Boiler Feed -
.< Pump was unanimously approved, the same being en low bid. • . . .
After allowing claims in the amount of $408,058.b5 _ on proper , .
motion the meeting adjourned.
