COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE
MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING & POWER PLANT
OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA.

The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a
Committee in charge of the operation of the Municipol Electric Lighting
Power Plant of said City , met. in the office of the Mayor , Monday ,
December 15th, 1947 at 6:30 o'clock P. M. -- Messrs . Chambers, Ewbank,
Harris, Homan, Kinder , Marino, Russell & Tracy being present the following
proceedings were had to-wit;
The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed with.
Monday , December 15th, 1947 being the date designated by the Committee
for the receiving of bids for equippment at the Light Plant the bids were
presented as follows;

Item No. 1 One (1) Dual Driven, Boiler Feed Pump --- $3,350.00
Allis Chalmers
Item No. 1.0ne (1) Dual Driven Bailer Feed Pump --- $14,000.00

Item No. 1. One' (1) Dual Driven , Boiler Feed Pump--. $10,142. 70
Mr. Homan moved the bids be referred to Mr. Stevens for tabulation and
that a Special Meeting of the Committee he held Monday, December 29th ,t1947
at $:00 o'clock P. M. for the purpose of farther consideration and awarding
the contract for_ .said equipment providing all the specifications have been
complied with. With a second by Harris the motion was unanimously approved.
Mr. Stevens reported a satisfactory test had been held on the New Boiler.
Mr. Kinder & Mr. Ewbank stated due to a fact that their services to the
City of Richmond were drawing to a close as Councilmen,they both wish to
express to the other members of Council and other officials their appre-

ciation for the good fellowship they both had enjoyed during their time of .
service as Councilmen.
After allowing claims in the amount of $35,307.S1 on proper motion the
meeting adjourned.
