COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE
• MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING & POWER PLANT
OF ThE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA.

The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a
Committee in charge of the operation of the Municipal Electric Lighting
& Power Plantof said City , met in the office of the Mayor, Monday,
November3rd, 1947, at 8:30 o'clock P. M. -- Messrs. Brehm, Chambers,
Ewbank, Harris, Homan, Iidrino, Russell & Tracy being present the following
proceedings were had to-wit;
The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was •dispensed with.
Mrs Clifford May appeared before the Committee in the interest of Mrs.
George Baker stating tney wished to have a sign removed which had been
installed on their property in the rear of 29 Northwest First Street, the
same being,referred to Mr. Stevens & City Attorney Keisker.
The report on generation for the month of October showed 9,969,000k. w.
9.8 percent increase over the same period of last year ,1946. The peak load
for the month was 21,700 k. w. or 6.I+ percent increase over the same period
of last year 1946, which was 20,I+00 k. w. •
For a ten month period ending November 1st the total generation shows
91,732,000 k. w. an increase of 16.4 over the same period of last year 1946
For the same ten month period in 1946 the peak load was 22,500 k. w. an
increase of 8.2 percent over the same period of last year 1946 which was
20,800 k." w.
After allowing claims in the amount of $75,736.55 on proper •
motion the meeting adjourned.
