MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL ,SERVING AS A
COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE
MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING AND PONER PLANT
OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA.
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a
Committee in charge of the operation of the Municipal Electric Lighting
& Power Plant of said City , met in the office of the Mayor , Monday,
September 1st, 1947 at 8;30 o'clock P. M. --- Messrs. Chambers, Homan,
Marino, Russell & Tracy being present the following proceedings were
had to-wit;

IIIThe reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed
with.
Mr. Stevens in making a report on generation stated the month{ Of
August . 1947 was an all time on generation at the Plant which was
9,772,000,— k. w. in comparison with the same period for last year
which was 8,621,000 showing an increase of 1)4.5 percent.
The peak load for August, 19147 was 22,500 k. w. a 15 percent increase
over the same period of last year 1946, which was 19,600 k. w. an increase
of 15 percent.
Mr. Stevens also reported the total generation for the past 8 months
of 19147 was 72,128,000 17.7 percent increase over the same period of
last year 1946.
After allowing claims in the amount of $450,819.145 on proper motion
the meeting adjourned.
