MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL ,SERVING AS A
COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE
MUNICIPAL rT,T;CTRIC LIGHTING & POWER PLANT
OF THE CITY OP RICHMOND, INDIANA. .
The Common Council 6f the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a
Committee in charge of the operation of the Municipal Electric Lighting
& Power Plant of said City , met in the office of the Mayor Monday,
January 20th, 1947, at S:30 o'clock P. M. Messrs. Brehm, Chambers,
Eubank, Harris, Homan , Marino ,Russell, M Tracy being present
the following proceedings were had to-wit;
The reading of the minutes of the previous- meeting was, dispensed
with.
Mr. Stevens gave a report on the number of Electric Ranges and
Hot Water Heaters plus new refrigeration which had been installed in
the last year.
The Committee discussed with Mr. Stevens the matter of transfering •
funds from the General Fund to the General Fund Cash Reserve and Mr.
Homan moved that $100,000.00 be transferred from the General Fund of
the M. E. L. & P.P. to the General Fund Cash Reserver With a second
by Marino the motion was unanimously approved.
After alloying claims in the amount of $37,g36.49 the meeting ,
ad j ourri ed.
