MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL SERVING AS A
COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE
MUNICIPAL ELECRTIC LIGHTING & POWMR PLANT
OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA.
The Common Council of the City of Richmnod , Indiana, serving as a
Committee in charge of the operation of the Municipal Electric Lighting
& Power Plant of said City 'met in the office of the Board fif Works,
Monday, September 16th, 194+6 at 8:30 o'clock P. M. --- Messrs. Brehm,
Chambers, Ewbank, Harris, Homan , Kinder, Marino, Russell & Tracy being
present the following proceedings were had to-wit;
- The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed with;
The Insurance Committee composed of Don Bell , Wayne Duff & Norman
Pilgrim appeared before tkie Committee in regard to Libalit r Insurance
and after some discussion the matter the Committee recomended that an
estimate be made an Presented to Mr. Stevens so that it may be Presented-
to the Committee in the near future.
The Committee unanimously approved the transfer of $100,000.00 from
the General Fund Cash to the :G•eneral Fund Cash,Reserve of heLM. E: L:. & P. P.
The Committee also unanimously approved the transfer of funds from the
Denrectation Reserve Fund of the M. E. L. & P. P to the -General Fund Cash----'
Cr:1 of the same said Plant sufficient for the complete cost of the Coaling Tow4r
etc:as needed®
After allowing claims in the amount of $55,S21.76 on proper motion the
meeting adjourned.
