MFFTING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL SERVING AS A
COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE
MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING POWER PLANT
OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND,INDIANA.
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a
Committee in charge of the operation of the Municipal Electric Lighting
Power Plant of said City met in the office of the Bogrd of Works, Monday,
July 15th, 1946 at g:30 o'clock P. M. --- Messrs. Brehm. Chambers, Ewb.ank,
Homan, Kinder, Marino, Russell & Tracy being present the following proceedings
• ,were had to-wit;
The reading of the minutes of the preceding meeting was dispensed with.
Monday , July 15th, 194+6 being the date designated by the Committee
as the time for the receiving of bids for the setting of the boiler, bids
are as follows;
F. A. Wilhelm $26,20g.00
McCabe Construction Co. 33,500.00
0. H. Warwick Co.
Using Chicago Fire Brick Setting 30,950.00
" Laclede " - " " 31,060.00

Mr. Tracy noved the bids be referred to Mr. Stevens for tabulation and
and a report be made at a Special meeting to be held at the Light Plant Office
July 23rd, at 2:00 o'clock P. M. With a second by Chambers the Motion was
unanimously approved.
Mr. Tracy moved the City Attorney be instructed to prepare and ordinance
appropriating 8300,000.00 out of the Light Plant General Fund Cash to the
Civil City General F.B.nd Account for the purpose of reducing taxes in the year
1947. With a second by Kinder the motion was approved.
Mr. Stevens reported bids would be received Tuesday July 23rd for additional
equippment at the Special meeting of the Committee at the Light Plant Office as
advertised:
After allowing claims in the amount of $4E5,997.99 on proper motion the
meeting adjourned.
