COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OP THE OPERATION..OP THE
MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING : POW PLANT

. OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA.
The Common 6ouncil of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a
Committee in charge of the operation of the Municipal Electric Lighting
and Power Plant. of said City met in the office of the Board of Works
Monday, April let, 1946; at 8o7,0 o'clock P. M. ---,Messrs. Brehm, Chambers
Ewbank , Homan, Kinder, Marino, Russell & Tracy being present the following
proceedings were had to-wit;
The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed with.
. A report was presented to the Committee which stated M . Stevens,
Light Plant Superintendent was ill and in a hospital at Cincinnati, but
recovering in a splendid manner and probably would be present at the
next regular meeting.
Mr . Brehm raised the question as to who was in charge in the absence
of Mr. Stevens, and Mra Homan stated he was of the opinio that Mr. Beck was
in charge . The matter was discussed further and Mr. Brehm recommended that
a definite understanding be had. in. the future in the absence of Hr. Stevens
and the same was taken under advisement until the next regular Feeting.
After allowing claims in the amount of $ 40,616.2o on proper motion
the Committee adjourned.
