the following proceedings were had, to -wit:
Bids were received for the Wry rovenent of North $Do street,
as provided for by Ismroverx+nt Resolution number 85, By t!e
construction of a oetnent curb and gutter alone the North side
thereof, frost Ft. TLYne Aver.ue to North Ath street, John?,
Cronin being the only bidder, His bid being as follows:.
Far the construction of straight curb and gutter .78 cents m
lineal foot, For circular curb and gutter, $1.00 per lineal
foot and for cement Intersection .ls cents per square foot,
On Motion of Mr. O'Neal the contract was awarded to John T.
Cronin,
The Prima Facle assessrent Roll in the natter of the lap

Ste Board of public Works of the City of RAchnond, Indiana, met
IT; regular session at the Office of said Board, Wednesday October
17th, 1906, at 10 O' Clock A. M, All the members of said Board being
present, viz: Mesnra, Merril, O'Neal and Johnaoa, The following pro -
,,,dings were had, to -wit: -
The recommendations from Mr. Bartel, member of the Co:nnon Council,
,,,ling attention to South •S' street from loth to 12th streets, and
sidewalk at southeast corner of 9th and A streeta, South, were
received and taken under advisement,
The motion of Mr. Deuker, presented at the last meeting of the Common
Council, with reference to the Board of Public Works and a committee
from the Council holding a conference wit:c the oi'.Icials of the Indiana
Columbus & SaBtern Tractlon Company was received and It was decided
that the President of the Board cornUnicate with the officials of
said Traction Company and arrange for a date for said conference.
A Petition was presented for the improvement of the alley running
Borth and South between-/20th and 21st streets, from C to oetso
oral referred to the City a,1vi1 Fatgineer for plans and spaiflca
I petition was presentAd for the vacation of the alley from Laurel
street to let alley North running east and west between lots 20 &
21 S. & J. Ra4'sback Add' This petition was taken under advisement.
The City Civil En;ineer reported the completion of the following
Improvements, The constructicr. of cement sidewalks on both sides of
Boyer street from State street to School street: TY.e construction of

east and west also from the south line of alley running
