HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD-CC-1989-01" ORDINANCE NO. 89-01 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO CHAPTER 17 OF THE MOAB CITY CODE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOAB, UTAH: THAT Section 17.15.020 of the Ordinances of Moab City, 1987, as amended, relating to the official zoning map of the City of Moab, be, and the same is, hereby amended by the addition of the following: The following described real property zoned R-4, Residential Zone, is hereby rezoned as MH-RV1, Mobile Home -Recreational Vehicle Zone: A part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (Lot 1) of Section 2, Township 26 South, Range 21 East, Salt Lake Base and Meridian, City of Moab, Grand County, State of Utah, described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Section 2, and Proceeding, thence along the East line of said Section coincident with the center line of Fifth West Street South 0�11'00" West 1277.02 feet; thence South 89�54'00" West 50.00 feet; thence South 0�11'00" West 18.00 feet; thence South 89�54'00" West 753.50 feet; thence North 60�00'00" West 89.86 feet; thence South 30�00'00" West 47.00 feet; thence North 60�00'00" West 274.00 feet; thence South 30�00'00" West 91.91 feet; thence North 89�43'00" West 134.45 feet; thence along the West line of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said Section, North 0�17'00" East 1231.83 feet; thence along the North line of said Section, coincident with the center line of Fourth North Street, North 89�54'00" East 408.65 feet; thence South 0�06'00" West 400.00 feet; thence 89�54'00" East 450.00 feet; thence North 0�06'00" East 400.00 feet; thence along the North line of said Section, coincident with the center line of Fourth North Street, North 89�54'00" East 462.00 feet to the point of beginning. LESS the following portion thereof conveyed to Grand County for a Highway known as project No. 0341 described as follows: Beginning at a point approximately 877 feet South from the Northeast Corner of said Section 2, said point also being approximately 18 feet perpendicularly distant Easterly from the center line of said project at Engineer Station 29-65; thence South 400 feet along the East line of said Lot 1 to a Southeast corner of said entire tract; thence South 89�54' West 50 feet along a Southerly boundary line of said entire tract; thence South 0�11' West 18 feet along an Easterly boundary line of said entire tract; thence South 89�54' West 10 feet to a point 35 feet perpendicularly distant Westerly from said center line at Engineer Station 25-47; thence North 1�08' East 418 feet to a point 35 feet perpendicularly distant Westerly from said center line at Engineer Station 29-65; thence South 88�52' East 53 feet to the point of beginning as shown on the Official Map of said projection file in the Office of the State Roar Commission of Uta . The above -described parcel of land contains 0.52 acre, more or less, of which 0.49 acre, more or less, is now occupied by the existing highway. Balance= 0.03 acre, more or less. For purposes of the above description, Fifth West Street formerly known as Fourth West Street. PARCEL NO. 2: Beginning at a point which bears South 1,295.0 feet and West 807.7 feet from the Northeast Corner of Section " 2, Township 26 South, Range 21 East Salt Lake Base and Meridian, and proceeding thence North 60� West 89.9 feet; thence South 30� West 47.0 feet; thence North 60� West 274.0 feet; thence South 30� West 20 feet; thence Southeast approximately 220 feet to a point which is South 1285 feet and South 89�54' West 970.8 feet from the Northeast Corner of Section 2, Township 26 South, Range 21 East, Salt Lake Base and Meridian, running thence South 0�06' East 10 feet; thence North 89�54' East 163.1 feet to the point of beginning.
