PLANT OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA. The Common Council of.the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a Committee in charge of the operation of the Municipal Electric Lighting & Power Plant of said. City met in the office of the Board of Works, Mon- day, May 7th, 1945, at 8v30.o°clock P. M. -- Messrs. Cartwright, Ewbank, Hibberd, Homan, Kinder, Marino, Russell & Tracy being present the foll- owing proceedings were had to-wit:. The reading of the minutes of the preceding meeting was dispensed with. Mr. Stevens Stevena presented a report on generation for the month of April 1945; which was 7,546,000 k. w. compared with 7,217,000 k.w. for the-same period in 1944 showing an increase of 4.6 percent. The peak. load for 1945 wa 18,200 k. w. compared with. 16.5001r. w. for 1944 showing an increase of 10.3 percents, : On the recmmendation of Mr. Stevens the Committee approved the transfer of $50,000.00 from the General Fund Cash to the Reserve Fund Cash of the M. E. L. & P.P. CO Mr. Stevens reported due to Federal Regulations coal would be increased from $1.80 .per ton at the mines to $1.89 per-ton effective May 1st, 1945, Aiv this order being effective in 11 districtr,.
