MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL,SERVING AS A
COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION_ OF THE
MU:?ICIPAL ELECTRIG :LIGHTING & PO?1ER PLANT
OF THE CITY OF RICHMOED, INDIANA.
The Common 8ouncil of the City of RIchmond, Indiana, serving as a
Committee in charge of the operation of the Municipal Electric Lighting
& Power Plant of said City met in Special Session in the office of the
Board of Works Tuesday , December 26th, 1944, at 8:00 o'clock P. M.
Messrs. Cartwright, Hib1erd, Homan, Marino, Russell & Tracy being present.
the following Proceedings were had tp-wit;
The reading of the minutes of the preceding meeting was dispensed with. Ill
The matter of contributing to the Indiana,.,Municipal League was discussed
by the Committee and Mr. Hibberd stated due to the fact that Municipal
Utilities were being involved as to legislation and etc. he would move that
the sum of $150.00 be contributed from the Light Plant Funds of the City of
Richmond, Indiana. With a second by Russell the motion was unanimously appm
roved9 and Mr. Stevens Light Plant Superintendent was instructed to make
payment of same.
After allowing claims in the amount of $18,268.84 on proper
motion the Committee adjourned.
